I had heard about the news of Viagra several months ago. I thought the reason of taking advantage of Viagra persuaded me when I first knew it. Viagra can increase oxygen-carrying capacity of blood vessels. Therefore, the muscles of athletes’ can enhance endurance because of the more efficient transport of oxygen. Not only me but also a lot of people athletes trust the amazing effects after taking Viagra. However, the study brings the different point of view to us.
The research reveals that the performance of athletes did not significantly boost a lot. The real reason of gaining better performance than before is the mental change of them! I was surprised at this truth. The athletes want to improve themselves by all means, such as the unit in our English class mentioned about, StrMotion. Nowadays, the food prices get higher than our salary, especially vegetables and fruits, which provide lots of nutrition to us. It seems that the poor people could not afford the cost of healthful food so that they choose junk food for their meals unwillingly.
As an university student, I had faced seas of difficulties because of my limited allowance. I spent more money on foods than before and I seldom made ends meet without the support of my dear mom. In this report shows an interesting experiment that the couple in United States lived for a month on just a dollar a day for food. They couldn’t gain enough nutrition with the lack of money. On the contrary, our former president had a hunger strike in order to protest the verdict of him. The media in Taiwan paid attention to haw many meals he had refused to eat without concerning the poor people who had to struggle on the edge of death.
Currently, our government decided the policy of sending the consumed tickets to all the citizens in Taiwan. According to the report from newspaper, over sixty percent people wanted to use the money to buy the necessaries without the luxurious goods. If the economy slump could not be solved after the policy, we should live in the dogs’ life in the near future.(224 words)

I think modern people like to see beautiful things and hate to have the contact with “uncomfortable” people. I have to admit that I also love to take a look on handsome guys. However, after read this research, I was surprised that I had been ignored the personalities which deeper than skin of human beings for a long time. Moreover, the ugly people also get fewer opportunities or earn less money than people of beauty. It seemed that have a lovely face or not would determine the whole life nowadays.
Our world keeps changing each moment. We could not slow down and know a person clearly. We set the rules in order to distinguish people into various types. The thin people are pretty and sexy to common people. I think that’s the reason why women go to do cosmetic surgery. I don’t know what the meaning is if each one looks alike. I don’t know how to change the conception of beauty, either. We have no right to define “ugly” or to persuade others become what we like.
